Jessie Paulson
Jessie is what some might say the “Quintessential Raft Guide.” She cooks, she cleans, she plays with kids, she can tell wonderful interpretive anecdotes, she can row, she can paddle boat, she’s funny, and she’s cute. She is the model that all raft guides that come after her should try to follow. Okay….now the truth: A newcomer to the CanX crew, Jessie, is very excited to spread her wings over the incredible Grand Canyon. She was raised in a boating family and boating is the very lifeblood that courses through her veins. She began her career working on the Green and Yampa Rivers of Colorado and Utah for three seasons. Yearning to challenge her skills, she migrated up to the beautiful Middle Fork of the Salmon in Idaho where she has spent the last six summers. She came to CanX in the fall of 2007 and enjoys splitting her seasons between spring and fall in the Canyon and summer in Idaho. She looks forward to meeting and spending time with each and every one of you.
