Bronze Black fell in love with the Grand Canyon on a backpacking trip for a geology course. Since then, the Grand Canyon has become a big part of his life. Bronze finds that his geology degree magnifies his ability to enjoy and interpret the natural world. Guiding on the rivers of the Southwest for the last seven years, he enjoys spending his evenings listening to the river go by and playing guitar around the campfire. On and off the river, the canyon’s beauty inspires Bronze in his work as a photographer and graphic artist.
