David Dill

David has had some type of whitewater paddle in his hands for most of his adult life and has an obvious passion and skilled knowledge of moving water.  Raised in Cincinnati, he started working as a paddle captain in West Virginia on rivers such as the Gauley and the New.  He now has over 15 years of experience in the back of a paddleboat on rivers around the world.  His paddle team has put down two third place finishes at nationals as well as a Gauley Fest race win in 2004.  David is also pretty skilled with a kayak paddle. He has traveled the world chasing his true passion with boat in hand, and has worked as a safety kayaker in West Virginia and Colorado.  When he is not in a boat of some type David can be found in waders, still in the water, in some of Colorado’s finest fly fishing streams.  When the snow falls, David steps into his skis as a ski patroller at Keystone Mountain in Colorado.  He has a degree in Public and Environmental affairs from Indiana University.
