Lucca Criminale has spent the last 18 years guiding on rivers in the Americas, from Washington State down to Costa Rica and Chile. Lucca is an all around rescue specialist. Off river time often finds her working as an EMT on an ambulance crew or ski patrolling. Along with her husband Tom, she currently runs an instructional center in her hometown of Leavenworth, Washington. Here Lucca teaches courses such as Wilderness First Aid and Swiftwater Rescue to other outdoor professionals.
