Matt Winfrey has been a whitewater guide since 1992. He often follows the river season around the world guiding through the off season in places such as Australia, India, Costa Rica, and the Philippines. As for the Grand Canyon Matt refers to it as “one of the most extraordinary places and phenomena on the planet and surely one of its most enchanting schoolrooms”. Matt also works in exotic locations as scuba dive master and sea kayaking guide.
