 Education: Master in Geology from the University of Tennessee; Teaching certification from Colorado State University. Work experience: Oil exploration geophysicist for three years; United States geological survey for four years; Middle School teacher in Durango and Seattle for the last ten years. Rafting Experience: 19 years of rafting experience on rivers in New Zealand, Africa, Costa Rica, Siberia, Argentina, Chile, California, Montana, and Idaho. Favorite river trip---- The Grand Canyon cause it is long and there aren't any liver eating parasites living there.
